Alright, so far I have found that a 3" brass Stanley door hinge can be used in the place of VW tool 2064 (camshaft lock), a 11mm deep socket is pretty much what VW 2065a is, and the tensioner can be adjusted with a couple of nails or a set of $2 snap ring pliers. So, the only thing left is the ...

IMHO , ALL Rabbit's should be plugged in at all times.---I use a simple cheap light dimmer to lower the jscket temperature on the element --that way they last ---for an eternity.------OK OK I know that Mark Shepherd UK is going to say hagar that takes a LONG cord -----EH ? hagar.
