has anyone heard of "flame start" that's what i want. it's a heating coil that has a wax motor valve that you feed fuel to. you put it in your intake manifold. so you give it a couple seconds to heat up and start cranking the engine it sends gouts of flames into the engine heating the cyli...

bosch's spec opening pressures give a tolerance for +8 bar (some new injectors have a tolerance of +14 bar) when setting and are acceptable at 10% bellow spec when testing. so you don't have to worry about getting them bang on.. just try to get them within 10% of each other..... and as far as torqui...

that brings me to the next question .... how does the 85+ vp work .. is it just a gear pump or what ... where does it get its lube... I would have taken mine apart when i was rebuilding my engine but I was pressed for time and it was working fine before. so I didn't take it apart..

just wondering if anyone has installed a espar hydronic 4 or wabasto blue heat in they're car. the last couple weeks of -40 have been making me want one... cold is bad. power is not always available. my little golf says no

hah stupid vnt!!! ... nm yes I have seen several vehicles with seized vnt actuators this can be replaced on it's own ...(not at vw) and it's a little tricky (a bit of trial and error getting it adjusted.) but the vanes themselves can also become stuck.

I'm not sure exactly what the one on the left is for but if this is a model with ac then I belive that the one on the right is a ac compressor sut out.. for when you need that extra power. i'd have to check my book

I could be wrong but i believe that the VE6 system used on the dodge ram 5.9l cummins did not have a lift pump either... the other pump systems used on that truck(ie. vp44 and inline) i believe did
