I have a good "AVX" for sale.

Complete head to pan includes injectors and a detached IP. IP bracket was used on another project. Rabbit had 64K miles when totaled.
I no longer need this engine. $400/obo

I've driven a few miles with the new ball joints, and gabriel inserts.
Tight as new again.

The china made spring compressor had my life on the line though. Never again. Its going in the trash.

What's the ID of the clear line you used? I'll be driving the caddy to get it so I don't want to pull it off to measure. More air in the line...

I'll check local parts house for a check valve as well.

Close inspection revealed tiny cracks in the fuel supply line. Perhaps she's sucking air thru those.
Any problems with using clear line? It would be nice to watch.

Surely there's a "parts engine" in somebodys junk pile...

No external leaks that I can see... I keep a close eye on the belt area. IP and engine have very few miles as the caddy was towed behind an RV most of its life. OD showing 165k now. New fuel filter solves the hard start problem everytime. I'm wondering if the Racor filter that is mounted is a bit to...

I have a similar problem. My caddy will loose the IP prime over a two hr period of sitting unless the front end is parked down hill. New fuel filter solved this problem once before. But the problem is back in short time. The Racor filter elements are hard to find locally. Doesn't the IP have a check...

Yep, Jack's a good guy. Bailed me out on a few parts in the past for the Caddy.
Had to get her on the road asap and found some Gabriel gas inserts locally.

Anyone using Gabrial inserts?

Both the Boge and Sachs I found are listed as "Hydraulic". I saw no other description listed.

What about Gabrial Gas inserts? I can pick them up locally for a reasonable price.

Its time for a front end redo on the 81 Caddy. Looks like the Boge and Sachs inserts are about the same price.

Which one would should I go with??? I'm looking for the OEM ride or just a tad stiffer.
