I have a 1.6 td in my westy and would like to intercool it , was wandering what is a good intercooler and how is this done?

I am parting out a 1985 full camper, it is water cooled. runs and drives

I have a 82 westy with a clock, and I just bought a 85 westy for parts and was wandering how to make the tach work in my 82 1.6 turbo diesel

what is the max size tire that I can put on a 15x7" rim on my westy, My van has 1.6 td with dk tranny. I just got a set of 15" rims and want the best size for my power. I understand that I need a LT or c Rated tire , and was told that 215 65R 15 is the one to use but I think that is small....

With respect to all the people who have helped me with tips and info. As a new convert myself over the last 8 or 9 months. motor ran grate in the jetta. nothing was changed. just seals and belt but pump was not touched.

well i tried it all, filter lines are clear to tank.
and i hooked up a sucktion pump to the return side of the pump and it still wont rev. Is the pump shot?

well after a long winter and lots of work, i fixed the 93 jetta crank gear and sold it , the car was to good for a doner, so the van got the 1.6 TD out of the 86, and the 86 got the van 1.6 na, wow it worked grate in the jetta,sold that one to. So the vanagon got a dk trans from AA trans., new clutc...

how much and what is the rest of the car like.
