WATER / METHANOL INJECTION

I have a buddy who just bought a new jetta tdi and has already had computer reprogrammed and now is in the process of installing water meth injection. If this is an old topic, then i appologize, but i'm new to this part of forum as i just aquired my tdi. Has anyone tried this with any degree of luck...

Yeah i just priced that stuff. Approx $8.00 a quart, but i would never even consider trying to sidestep the 505.01 requirement.Oh yes and do I understand correctly that there is no ve type pump? Is the pump individualized for each injector and pulsed with two injection events per cycle at high press...

Ok just did a search online and all i can come up with power wise is that it;s got 99 hp @177 ft# at approx 2600 rpm's. Not exactly what he was saying. I do take everything he's told me seriously as everthing about the car that he's said up to now has been spot on. Maybe i'm mistaken or he;s gotten ...

Bingo, I just talked with P.O. and he told me it is a BEW engine code. I'll do a little research online.

Well after just repairing AC unit and completely waxing and detailing it, now the clutch throwout nhas decided to guit.It's a 4 sp. 1.6 na.and the cables fine and works outside lever properly. Has anyone took the end off one of these units while still in the car? Can the throwout unit be took apart ...

ALL probs repaired now. The ac works far better than last year. I suspect it was partially stopped up then. :)

Well she's fine now. That thing throws cold enough air now to make you shiver. The main root cause was debris blocking the screen thats in the exp. valve. I do however have one problem, when i diconected my alt wire it shorted momentarily and has opened a link somewhere. No fuses blown but it is now...

Have flushed system out and removed exp. valve. The valve had alot of debris in the feed end of it. I'm sure with that tiny screen in there that that was the prob. I have a new one coming and hopefully all will be well now. Will post back after finishing. Oh BTW the debris did'nt look like amything ...

Ok guy's I got her fixed and i was lucky to have a good caliper on my parts car.About 1 hr. of work was all it took. She runs like normal now. later dudes. :)

Found out why she's been feeling puny lately!!!

She's not been up to snuff lately so by chance i was at fast food place and while waiting on order i noticed i was setting on slope & it idi'nt creep backward. SOO i found rt side front caliper sticking. Should be an easy fix. Hoorah and here i was thinking she was loosing power for some unexpla...

Yes i'm very suspiscious that it may be oil slogged. If i were to really do it up right i would remove compressor and drain it, then add 5 oz. of pag purge all items and check for flow with compressed air afterwards.Finish up with fresh reciever/dryer evac and recharge & hope the expansion valve...

My thoughts also, thats why i asked if anyones ever changed a expansion vave on one of those things? I sure hope you don't have to tear the car apart as i suspect that will spell the end of that AC unit if it does.Thanks to all.
