Ah Ha ! So there is a specific rear motor mount for the Turbo ! That pic says it all. This is an EcoDiesel motor so I thought that it would have had to have come out of a A2 platform with this rear engine mount config. We'll see how scarce these turbo mounts are ,.Tylernt will need one too I think,....

Arg ! I flailed around for awhile trying to attach that foto.,My teenage daughter even spent a few precious moments from her hectic life to help her techno challenged dad. I, however, still flub'd it.! I see there is a post here now that explains it . So I'll try again. On your install.,I wonder if ...

The turbo motor I'm building didn't come with a rear engine mount. I removed this cast alum one from a gasser at the U-Pull yard. But there is a problem..Does anyone have a foto of a the "factory"...

B4 ECM fuse ?

I'm trying to determine why the Eng Elec fuse (10 amp,#15) blows. I'll trace it down in the schematics when I can get a Bentley manual at a decent price., But in the mean time can someone tell me where this power should be going.? This is a 97 Passat. It starts up OK and even runs decent when it's c...

Andrew Yeah I had read that the ADA and LDA are internally identical..But it just seems unrealistic (and way too easy) to think that just swaping ports would turn a ADA into an LDA pump. ..So the hunt for an LDA pump is back on...unless someone knows of a shop that has made this conversion....I have...

OK..I'm going to wade into this with a question..I've read that the ADA and LDA are internally identical. But the LDA uses manifold boost pressure on top to increase fuel delivery.,and the ADA has a vacuum applied to the bottom with atmosphere pressure (or lack of at higher altitude ) on top, to red...

1000W FrostHeater

I'm looking for "block heater" options for my daughters Jetta. She has a short drive to school and has arrived before any hot collant starts flowing. The in-line heater at TdiHeater.com is one option. 1000 Watts seems like a lot though. Anyone have any experience with the TdiHeater or have...

FS: '81 Dsl Pickup..Price adjusted..

Please consider this a project. This '81 Dsl Pickup started off life in Cincy Ohio and the salty roads have worked their magic. The motor runs great after a roll start so I'd say compression is down. Its got a 5spd in it now. A/c componets all in place but no freon. I've also got a few misc. spare p...
