Look at the box the oil comes in.If it says clear fry oil it is good. If it says shortning,use it for bio. Let it sit in the containers for a few weeks and let the water go to the bottom. I have 300sd that I run on RUG and WVO. I bought a 1985 jetta Ran it on diesel and bio for about 3000 miles. It ran great on bio,poured in 5 gal of wvo and could not get it to start the next morning. Timing belt on 85 Jetta
I want to change my timing belt on my 85 Jetta.I can not find anyone who will do it. Is the belt a hard one to change? Do you need special tools? I even called 3 places who work on foreign cars.

WVO and RUG
I have a 85 Jetta diesel and was wondering if anyone has tryed 10% rug with WVO. My Mercedes runs with no problem and loves that mixture.I got the Jetta for better fuel mileage.

Timing belt on 85 Jetta
I have a 85 jetta diesel 1.6. If you loose the timing belt will it take out your valves or will it cause no injury to the engine?
