window channel/ weatherstrippin: where to buy?

Anybody know where to buy window channels and weatherstripping in general for an 82 Rabbit? I called one place, and the guy nearly laughed me off the phone.

Aren't there two different styles of caps? How different are the differences  Here's one on ebay, says it covers 75-84, but again, I want to make sure that it's going to be the right style. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fuel-Gas-Cap-Volkswagen-Jetta-Rabbit-Cabriolet-Scirocco_W0QQcmdZViewItemQ...

Slipped a tooth on the Injector Pump. That was it. I rotated the engine until TDC mark on flywheel, checked, sure enough, IP marks didn't line up. So I slackened the tensioner, made a mark on the cam sprocket for reference, and was able to free the belt and then rotated the pump one tooth. Fired her...

Checked the line with a flashlight (it was night) and didn't really see anything. So there is a filter in the fuel tank? Hmm. . .
I'm going to check the timing tomorrow, we'll see what we get.

thanks,

So I'm thinking that I jumped a cog on my IP sprocket. So my questions are these:

1. What makes the belt do that? I wasn't driving hard at all

2. Could it have been possible that it jumped the Cam sprocket too?

damn.

Won't idle, blows smoke

Hey guys, So I was driving home from work tonight and my car sort of started stumbling and then died. I started it back up again and it died right away. I was able to get it started the third time and nurse her home. At stop lights I had to hold the pedal down a bit to keep the rpm's up so that the ...

So I just did a thorough checking of some wires and found that I got power from the red wire (16v) when the key was on and no power from the white and blue wire at all, any time. Then, I discovered that the fuse for the radio (on the fuse panel) was blown. But, weird thing is, when I replaced it, st...

It also says that the ground connection should be made somewhere on the body. . . is this necessary or can you use the brown wire from the wire loom?

Hey guys, So I just bought a new Alpine CD reciever and am having a bit of a problem hooking it up. First off, how many wires should there be from the car to stereo? Mine has 2 sets (4 total) of speaker wires, One big fat red wire, one big fat brown wire, and one greyish wire with a stripe. I hooked...
