I'm in Nogales, AZ about 60 miles south of Tucson, AZ. Libbybapa, what do you mean by junk for a glow plug???? When the TDIs come, you think we will be able to put them in our 80's Jettas/rabbits??? I know it can be done, but right now the resources are limited.... I would love a TDI on my 85 Jetta ...

sounds expensive, but if you don't have a block to work with that might be the only option.... it is hard to find VW diesel engines this days, jack is having trouble himself, he can't sell the rebuild kits for lack of cores. The dimension of 0.032mm stamped on the top of his pistons means that the cylinder bore should be 0.032mm larger, in diameter than the measured diameter of the pistons.
