Re: Clutch won't disengae
Thanks Fatmobile. Last night I pulled the green cover off. The arm looked alright and was operating alright pushing the throw out bearing in and the bearing would come back to where it was when the clutch pedal wasn't being pushed on. Re: Clutch won't disengae
I found one of those arms that push on the throw out bearing, near where I work. I'm going to get it just in case that's what it is.

Clutch won't disengae
My clutch won't disengage as of yesterday. I put a new cable in it and no results. Doing a search her was really helpful. There are a lot of good post so much that I book marked the search. After reading some of the post It's probably 1 of a couple of things, hole in the pressure plate or a broken a...

Re: Injector line question
I had more than two number 2 lines break on my "91" Jetta ME. It was the bolt underneath the pump were the lines attach. If it's gone or not tight it'll break that number 2 line.

Re: 92 ecodeisel downpipe
You can shop around for a inexpensive muffler shop and they can make one for you. But I think even a inexpensive shop is not going to be cheap.

Re: New dash light problem
Thanks Tyler. That's just what I was asking. My dash lights are out. The speedo comes on once in a while stays on for quite a while then it goes out Clock side never comes on anymore. I just followed that wire from the sensor and in just goes into the harness. Could just jump the Sensor connector ou...

Re: New dash light problem
Thanks for the replies. I'll have to screw around with it. I can take a quick look to trace some wires at lunch time here. It gets dark pretty quick now. Sun down is at 4:37pm here (I know most of you guys are in the same boat). There is no room under that dash. Does any know if the light switch has...

New dash light problem
Got a new dash light problem. Just before I fixed my no alternator problem, the light for the antifreeze level keeps blinking. Of-course I checked the fluid level added a little and the light still blinks. It was barely down. Also I unplugged the sending unit on the reservoir and plugged it back in ...

Re: No alt light
You guys were right. It was the exciter wire. The blade connector was broken. After I repaired it, It still wasn't on. After tracing the wire I seen it was broke at the plug near the battery. I just touched it a little bit and the red wire broke right off (age and heat I guess). Light is working the...

Rain Gutter.
Any one know if the rain gutters from a "96" Jetta fit on a "91" Jetta? The roof line looks the same.

No alt light
It has happened to most of us. Working on one thing and something else happens. I did a search for No alternator light in different forms and all I been getting for results are "my alternator light is on. Just the opposite. When I put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position the a...

Re: No heat help.
I have the aluminum tape that has the peel off back that has another kind of coating on it for taping the aluminum insulation to wrap around duck-work. I also have some of the tape you use for putting in new construction windows. That's aluminum with a peel off back. That stuff is really sticky and ...
