OK will try to explain with minimal chemical stuff. But, what stuff I use should be found in any chemical text and maybe wikipeadia. VO and WVO are triglyerides. Using Sodium methoxide on VO/WVO converts it to 3 smaller methyl Esters and a glycerol molecule. This process is called transesterificatio...

Straight Veg oil or even WVO will not effect the fuel lines like Bio-diesel. They are two entirely different materials. I would agree with canman regarding bio-diesel, though. If your going to run any bio-diesel, save yourself the trouble and replace the fuel lines. Give some thoughts to replaceing ...

Its like when the automobile came on the seen there were thousands of manufactures but there is an eventual shake out and buy out. Think you may well be right. May well lead to vehicals that can use many different fuels. Th...

Krank is correct! But the conversion efficency is even poorer than 50%! Based upon chemical considerations alone if hydrogen is considered the only usable product the conversion is only 11% efficent! If however, you also feed the oxygen into the engine your conversion is much better. But what are th...

In the US the tax is 12 cents tax on a 73 cent cost margins. Depends on state too! States vary a lot in their tax on gasoline. Georgia is the lowest (I could be wrong there, as this was some time ago) and goes up dramatically from there. Believe California is amongst the highest! As far as cost to ...

Wonder if they need/want your old one as a core anyway!

A1-2-A3, Now that your finished whining, I hope! Tell us what amount of tax is on that gallon of Canadian gas! Economics doesn't work that way even in Canada, your oil companies wouldn't sell it to the U.S. if they weren't making a better profit! Yes, we as a nation use far more fuel than our share,...
