Re: Front struts
I just put new front struts, strut bearings, and pickup springs on the 83 Rabbit last night, and wow, what a change. I could barely turn the old strut bearings, and the damping is much better. If I'd known how big the change was going to be, I'd have done it much sooner. Got about 1 1/2" of li...

Re: More power/torque on 1.6 n/a
1.6D the simplest things you can do is advance the pump timing and increase the fuel delivery. scribe a line from the injection pump mounting flange to the bracket it's bolted to... loosen the pump and rotate the top of the pump TOWARD the engine until there's 1mm between the lines you scribed. Nex...

Re: More power/torque on 1.6 n/a
Hi All, My engine is the 1.6D.................... Introduction Make your NA diesel (non-turbo) a faster car - an oxymoron? the impossible? Not really, NA (naturally aspirated) diesels can be modified to move a bit quicker than stock. Basic Performance Concept By increasing both airflow and fuel flo...

Replace the Relay Panel
relay plate is in the relay which means the relay will have to be replaced but only after checking the bulb holders like was suggested earlier.chalupien wrote:... The bentley says that the relay plate is faulty and should be replaced...Now I am really hoping the relay plate is not the fusebox.

Thanks, are they vinyl or cloth covered? if cloth use Febreeze, take them out to sun dry, check the carpet underlay for standing water, spray/dry them as w...
