Re: A little help please. Fuel cut-off wire
I see the fuel cut wire(red/blk) goes into box at d15, then gets power directly from term 30. Term 30 goes to P? then ign. (In the Bentley.)
How does a8 play into it? It doesn't show that in the manual. My wire is blk/red just like the book says. This is all too confusing

Re: A little help please. Fuel cut-off wire
Ok all of they warning lights go off when starting. Glow plug, batt. So what does this exactly mean. And how does one fix it?
It seems weird because in the on position all is well. There must be a link from starter to run position ?

This gave me more adjustment with the screw....thinking I may be to far into the advance or something. Here was and still is the problem....... I can stea...

I've heard if your motor is too advanced, the cold start will have no effect...hence the too many marbles I have. Pete Rothenbacher of dieselvw.com built the pump. sketchy? maybe... Im going to take my later style pump in to a local diesel shop for a quality rebuild. but Im running this one until th...

no pic yet
I have no method of adding a pic, but It is the style with an upper and lower return spring on the throttle. if the idle screw messes with pressure, then how does one lower the idle...the adjustment on the arm itself?

When coming off the freeway....at the first stoplight- its back at 600 until a quick rev brings her back to 950 where she'll stay...
