my van is down a quart of oil and I can't get oil in my town for diesels, can I put in a quart that dosen't have the cc or cd on the label and what does it do to an engine if it isn't for diesel

actually, I have seen a small bit of oil on the ground after it sits a while its only a little bit bigger than a 50 cent piece..should I be concerned?

I noticed on the back of my Vanagon on the outside, there is quite abit of oil spatter. It appears to be coming out of the exhaust? What does this mean?

I did the test twice and the petal never moved.Vacuum problem?

My brakes are very stiff feeling at the petal. If I slammed them on, the vehicle wouldn't stop.They have good shoes etc on them,but feel they need an adjustment I am wondering if the vacuum in the brakes can be adjusted by the vacuum pump?

they are tearing apart.I have ordered them from several diferent sources,all correct fitment for the vehicle...but I'm thinking a heavy duty one????

I have been through 4 belts in 8 months. It seems to me the rubber ones just aren't tough enough. Is there a belt out there a little tougher, maybe with steel threads in them??

My Vanagon did not have a stereo in it. I am a music lover and I want to put one in. Unfortunately,there is no factory installed antenna either. Thought instead of drilling through the body, one of those magnetic types that stick to the roof would work. All I keep finding are Cell phone or CB radio ...

Oops!! how do I correct it?

this van is in excellent original condition. 168,000 miles just a few small "tings" on the body, all original interior, carpet and even Vanagon floor mats. Radiator recore done 2 months ago.Runs excellent and I currently drive it a couple days/week..to save on gas! I really hate to get rid...
