Okay, so I am finishing up a rebuild, but I don't know where the timing mark is on the flywheel of the 1.9l TDI, anybody have pictures our link to a timing guide?

You should probably note for which turbo (if you already have a turbo). K14 and I think K24 used the same intake and exhaust manifold. T2 and T3 share a different intake and exhaust manifold. If you're doing a custom turbo, well then I guess it doesn't matter. Its a custom job, I appreciate the con...

the alt only produces enough to keep the battery charged up... once at full power, the alt tapers off to just keep up with the load you have on it. so a bigger one doesn't pull down the motor any more than a smaller one once every thing is charged up..... and as an added bonus ... the bigger one pu...

So, I've got a 1982 CY block for sale. It came out of a 1982 Quantum that was a running motor until shortly before I bought the car. Turns out the head was warped. The PO just kept adding water instead of pulling the head. The block came out of a southern car (Mississippi), and it's clean. It spins...
