85 Jetta NA into 89 TD questions.
Any surprizes doing this swap. Transmission geared differently? electronic controls? could have an entire donor car for the swap. Was thinking of just swapping the 89 turbo onto the 85 NA donor engine but see in another post there quite a few differences between the engines, or can it still be done ...

Safe diesel veg oil mix?
How much veg oil can be safely mixed with diesel before the fuel lines need to be replaced? Or how long till they likely are going to need to be replaced using a minimal mix or other problems developing? I expect a few filter might be the first thing to clog up.
