i need a new turbo oil return line for my 1996 passat tdi. my oil line is secured to the turbo with a 2 bolt flange, and goes into the engine with a banjo style connector. i can not find this line anywhere. anyone know where to get one or a simple retrofit? thanks in advance.

no fuel gauge, no temp., no speedo, and no tach. odometer and trip odometer, lights and blinkers work.

ok, i will try that,but brakes are new. the car did sit for 2 years, so i think i will try buffing the wedges and apply a very small amount of light grease.

on my 81 rabbit,i noticed when i roll to a stop, the brakes seemed to be dragging. i jacked it up and it took cosiderable effort to rotate the rear wheels. arter disssembly and reading a book, i came to the conclusion that the wedges are the problem. what might be the fix? can a person leave the ...

well when i checked the compression,no cylinder was above 300 so i resurected another rabbit from my bone pile. hadnt run in 2 years. bought a 1000 cca battery and it starts at zero degrees without being plugged in. hope this one runs for a while cause i only have one more left!

i too am worried about my compression. ordered a tester yesterday. should a person test this through the glow plug or the injector holes? the engine doesnt seem to have much "engine braking" anymore.

1980 1.5 rabbit. im in the process of replacing the timing belt and was wondering if any particular pump setting would aid in starting. i would not be concerned with economy or power,but would not want to damage the engine.
