how to replace bosch alternator voltage regulator brushes ??

mine are definately short and shot!

only produces enough power to run headlingts or heater, but not both well

also, the slip rings are well worn

I have the switch only, let's deal!

air brake line and braided vinyl

the braded vinyl is also good for the radiator to tank hose

IIRC, 1/8" injector "leak off" lines, 1/4" braided vinyl for most everything else, 5/16" for bigger tank line

are the rocker panel trim strips the black plastic parts you can step on when you open the door?

I wired the system to a "starter solenoid", which is nothing more than a big relay it lets me turn on the glowplugs for as long as I want, and the relay system still turns them on as long as it deems necessary I also installed the bosch "duraterm" glowplugs, they can stay on 3+mi...

solder a "T" to a coupler
solder the coupler to the compression fitting
try a "big box" home improvement store

I am curious as far as a baseline, especially for power at rpm, 1800 and 5k

remove the "OUT" bolt and fill there, you will know when it's full when fuel goes out the lower bolt

failure rate is relatively low, usually just a seal that needs replaced.
if you can move the shaft in and out, that is bad!

restricted exhaust, defective boost controller, broken wastegate system

if you have a "standard" valve shim adjussting plier, you can make it "spring loaded" by adding a compression spring

I used a "handi-pack" part # 88015 15/32 x 1-1/8 .047 wire dia

I added a lite that was for a backlite of a aftermarket guage set, putit in the panel for VAG-COM. there was a plug that popped off on the rite side, and it fit perfectly
