I have a 1.6td in my 85 gas vanagon
I bought a complete diesel van (rusted out) and a complete 84 Jetta TD to get all of the parts. Having a complete diesel van gives you access to the fuel filter setup, stock plastic fuel lines, accelerator cable and cold start cable. 1.6 td into 85 gas westy
I have a complete 85 1.6 td jetta, a complete non-running 82 vanagon diesel n/a, and a complete running 85 gas westy. I want to put the 1.6 turbo in the gas westy. Do I have all of the parts I will need? Which transmission would work best?
