Thanks for all the replys...Im pretty certain its not the fan. As I said, it works when I jump the switch and when the AC is switched on.
Also, the thermoswitch will never trigger if coolant is not getting to it, which seems to be my situation.
I really think now that it is the pump.

Please help me solve my Overheating problem!

This problem arose suddenly the other day in my 91 jetta 1.6L: Driving on the highway (65mph) I noticed the temp gauge at the 3/4 mark, when normally it runs right at the center mark.
