When I go to install the front Cam bearing cap should I put any sealant between the Cap and the head.

If so what kind RTV?

before I tore it all down I had the timing belt off and I was turning the I shft pulley by hand / finger to watch for amount and time it took for oil to make it up to lifter took a long time for oil to make it to the front lifters. didnt take a lot of force to turn the pulley. Thank you Andrew! The inner one is in. oil hole is off a little bit took most of the morning / afternoon. I have a new oil pump not very worn vacuum pump new seal for the vacuum pump. Any Ideas as to why the oil pump shaft wears at the slot that fits in the Vacuum pump? hoping this will take care of...

Yes I have two one at the filter mount sender and one at the head sender. Pressure was a little low just under 10psi at idle on really hot days about 30psi 60 mph 5th gear. I dont have a tach yet.. any tricks on aligning the oil holes rear bearing especially. engine is still in car crank and pistons...

I used a 13mm socket and ground / filed rounding down the three opposing insides.

I can post a picture but you cant really see it that well.

I cant remeber whos idea / suggestion it was here or I'd give them credit :D

Compression is still the same from last time 400 to 460 all pretty even. I set fuel pressure 1000 Pump rpm 2000 Crank rpm at 30 psi at Idle its around 15 psi. Is this correct??? the only tag on it says serial no. 63323

Mine is also a old tape deck radio

I took it over to a local VW shop and the guys said to try 111 or 1111

I brought it home and now it wont come out of SAF I left it over night powered up no luck so now I think its time to hit the junkyards and hunt up another one.

Hey I think its time to start looking into Tunes he's running so good. I have a stock stereo that came out of the now doner car. no Idea what the Theft code is, I did look around the trunk by the wheel wells from what I hear thats sometimes is where the dealer puts a sticker with the code.. no luck....
