injection pump seals

Injection pump seals are something Jack doesn't carry.
He sent us to a bosch shop in OK.
If I was on my computer I'd send you a link.
I've posted it before, maybe you could find it with a search with me as the author.

vegy laws

I've heard the federal fuel tax is a sales tax so if you don't buy vegetable oil for fuel you don't have to worry about that tax. I'd like to see a fuel tax exempt status for vegetable oil based fuels but it looks like they are only giving that to the big biodiesel producers by discounting the road ...

One of the best sellers you'll find ... and some great stuff.
I'm sure the list will change often so check it occasionally.

Great place for various parts

I bought a clutch setup from this guy. He has been on the vortex for awhile and has a good reputation for having rare, interesting parts. They just started harassing him and he can't sell over there anymore. A bunch of good stuff, check it out: http://photobucket.com/albums/v219/vwpieces/Rabbit%20St...

Congradulations. I'll be taking mine up to the MREA's energy fair, in northern Wisconsin, again next weekend. 5th year for me. I was the only vegy burning car there for the first 2 years, the 3rd year there were 4 of us, last year there were 9 vegy burners. Kinda wondering if there will be room for ...

running vegy lines to the tank

On my pickup, I ran them underneath. I took a 5 ft piece of exhuast pipe (forgot the diameter) had them put an 80 degree bend on the end. It hits the turn in the engine bay and runs next to the exhaust till it gets behind the cab. This is how I have the Fatmobile ('83 Rabbit) setup too. I noticed a ...

vegy line

What in straight vegetable oil eats away at heater hose, I'm not sure what makes it swell up and get soft. I noticed it on the outside of my HIH heater hose where it got oil on it. Doesn't normally get oil on the outside of the hose but I got sloppy. Even diesel fuel ruins heater hose. Some people ...

heater hoses and vegetable oil

Heater hose can't handle vegetable oil for long.
I think the outside is worse than the inner layer for resisting swelling and getting soft.
I don't know how long it will last, especially submerged in hot vegetable oil.

vegy pump

Some people use vacuum and air pressure to move vegetable oil. I use a 12 volt air compressor to pressurize my tank and push oil through my prefilters. Have heard of people filling a tank with vacuum, sticking the tube in the oil and sucking it into the storage tank. Benefits being the pump never to...

WVO tanks

That's the first I've heard of a tank with a built in heat exchanger that uses coolant. Marine water heaters hmmm. I've been using the 6 gallon, metal, marine fuel tanks and connecting the vent line (I installed) to my 10 gallon filter tank, on long trips. It pulls vegy out of the bigger tank, throu...

I use 5/8" heater hose on the outside and 3/8" PEX for the inner fuel line.
Check the www at the bottom of my posts to see my fuel line setup.
