How bad can engine oil get after two+ years. Well i drained the engine and lots of black oil came out. Almost 4L of it. I'm guessing the oil just degraded and thined out that it just won't stick to anything.. thats why it won't stick to the dip stick and it falls off like water drops... now what hap...

1.6 starts but i find it relies on the glow plugs a little to much when starting cold @ 5oC.. must be compression.. will test this soon turning the engine by hand or should i say ratchet.. then engine didn't spring forward on its own it need some ratchet to continue forward and easyer to turn smokes...

fuel pump in the back... hmmm i wonder if i can use this to my advantage for priming the system instead of sucking

As stipid as it sounds 85 1.6 N/A Diesel going in a 94 Jetta GL that has 2.0L engine in it (YES the engine still works) couple of thought i'm assuming everything drops right in execpt the electrical wiring and exhuast pipe.. exhuast pipe needs to be changed "dual down pipe" fuel filter nee...

what to look for?
Both have space ships on the Injection Pump
One grabs air from the Intake manifold (Blows) and the other somewhere near the turbo (sucks)¿?

it better be a new special tool needed for these diesels

Never tried them, but they look interesting. Maybe I'll just stick to my Bosch Duraterm Glow Plugs.
