If you don't leave the injector lines loose and crank until they leak fuel it will not fire.

Is there 12V on the cut-off solenoid?

Oh did you remove the pump pulley? If so are you sure the key is in and the pulley is "timed" with the pump?

I don't know what is going on there but I will try to eliminate some things. -For the purposes of starting it after prime.... If the engine temp is below room temp. use the cold start to help it ignite. -No block heater? What are you crazy? To a Canuck that is strange but not unheard of.... this pas...

it should be a deep cycle one for running the fridge and stuff right?.... in which case you should use a charger/ controller to charge it since it is a different type of battery and it is being changed/ added..... if you were to add a normal cranky cell you should change the other cell to so they ge...

Before you pull the dash you might try a quick flash of power of a higher order.. like using a good well charged 18v (cordless) tool battery or two car batteries in series for 24v.... you will scrap the blower if you hold the power to it but you might be able to get it to move with the higher voltag...

You can use one from almost any car as long as it has the same resistance and can go in your plastic blower without melting it. (senario: no air moving by it, fan on low. They put it in the blower to cool it down as you may know.)

That's what i have it is a tight fit even when you cut into the firewall of the D-pillar. The inter-cooler is too wide to fit in the column with no cut. (maybe there is some strange skinny inter-cooler out there that would fit but I doubt it) i have a blower and a home made shroud... it doesn't keep...

Hey daves

Sounds dangerous.

The pulley is what you need to be careful with since you can wreck the engine if that pulley position is out.

The rattle could be anything loose or fallen out of place.... could be a bad motor mount,

If your question is whether or not to use the ratio's you have... assuming you are going to keep the 1.6n/a then the best ratio's would be to keep the original transmission.

Just to remind some folks.... here is my solution to the out bolt solution. I drilled a small hole very carefully not to skip the cutting edge of the bit and thereby avoiding the great risk of small pieces blocking the orifice. I cleaned the inside by many bursts of water (from the screen side) whil...

Ok folks please excuse me if you've heard this one before but I have been churning this one over... even before this thread. If I had one of those pumps I would try to use it in combination with my on board furnace as a block heater. There are two options for this: One is to make a manifold/ loop fo...

I really can't see a down side to this idea of adding a new higher pressure line form the water pump. I think I will try it sometime.

Brilliant engineering Mr.Libby!
