HMM I was thinking a Geo Metro!

I understad the problem is in the VW gas tac?
I would love more info on your swap!! I have a 92 Geo I want to eventually put this motor into!!!

The car had been sitting before I just put it together! Nothing sudden nothing!

The input shaft was larger than the disk that came with the kit! Once I got the right disk it did go together ok!

I have pedel! I removed the release bearing and the rod came with it! NOTHING seems to be wrong? The clutch has about 5000 miles on it!
Could the springs in the disk itself have broken and a piece of it wedged and not let the disk release?

I have the Auto adjuster and I busted it apart and made a piece of 1 1/4 PVC pipe to take up the slack! Still wont disengage!

My 95 Golf wont disangage either! It has a new clutch in it! Has about 5k on it!
I did have trouble getting the new clutch together! Come to find out the trany is from the 2.0 Gasser!
How does the cable adjuster work?

Well I got the box from Dakota but then they tell me it wont work?
Is it possible to just get a diesel gauge cluster or will I have to rewire everything?

I have a mech head on a hydro (eco) block. With the turbo the drain had issues with oil return!

To be honest I wish I had NEVER rebuilt my 1.6 b;ock at all! You can get a COMPLETE 1.9 converstion crate motor for about $3k! I have about $4 in rebuilding my 1.6!

Dakota Digital is a compony that makes a converter? And how would I find what wire to use?

I have a 95 Golf that began life as a Gasser! Now with a turbo diesel! I have the W post, and I know the tac on the dash has a green wire! Where do I find the wire?

I just read on the VW forum, with key off and head light at O, Turn left turn signal on and pull forwards and hold. As you hold turn the key to on (don't start) for 3 sec! Turn key off and release turn signal! OFF ! Another said to remove the switch and bend over third tab? Hey I have a question abo...
