Be workin on this project for awhile now. When I gave up last fall, I had it all back together and into the chassis. It's a 95 Golf with a 92 Eco. My problem is I hooked up the battery and the alarm goes off and nothing I tried seems to kill it! I tried turning the key, unlocking the door? I'm stump...

Ok here is what I have learned in my rebuild!
There are Mercades injector tips that will pass more fuel.
There are a couple of different Garret turbos which will require an adapter plate.
And it's possible to increase output on the stock turbo with a different wheel and reworking the waste gate.

So the only way to make a gasser tac work is to add a FORD part? Is there realy no other way? I have the same set up and Iwas hoping to be able to make the cruise work too!

Is it possible to increase the pump to 9mm or do I need to find a different pump?

I am looking for ideas on what all cn be done to this motor when I rebuild it? I've done some high performance upgrades to other diesels in the past, but nothing this small!

I just picked up a 95 Golf tht was a gasser, and it has been converted to a 93 Jetta Eco! It has over 200K on motor! I've done a bunch of performance work on my Isusu truck over the years! I know I want to rebuild the motor, but what all can be done performance wise? Larger or more holes in injector...
