Let me see if I have this straight. into one of heater lines coming from the vegy tank, where it would go back to the vegy tank collecting more heat. I don't quite understand this. Into one of the heater lines, coming from the tank... so you want 2 HWHs, one coming from the tank and one going back t...

oil pressure light
Ah hahaha. coolair hagar fatmobile was thinking the other day, could this be something to do with the trany reverse light switch plug thingy? Does it have anything to do with telling the instrument cluster at what RPM the engine is running? It has something to do with the upshift light right? ...and...

Fuel flow
To quote I've been going through the posts and when I find something worth quoting I drag the curser across it (so the stuff I want turns blue) then in the reply I hit the quote button, then hitting control V pastes it after the quote brackets ... then I hit quote again and the end quote brackets sh...

fixin'
Hagar I deleted a couple of your quote practice posts for you. .....so how hard the cold start lever is to pull is something worth measuring? I have a tach in my '91 Golf TD now so I will try a few fuel flow measurements when I get a chance. I'd post pictures for you but I'm on dialup and running wi...

carbon buildup
I ran an engine on vegy for over 10,000 miles before I broke a timing belt and sent it to Jack as a core.
He said it looked normal as far as carbon goes.
I saw alot more carbon buildup on the engine I opened today and it was run on diesel.

I don't have a hard time understanding his posts and when I don't understand something he goes back and explains it for me. Sure wish he knew how to post pictures though because I still don't really understand the pressure gauge off the "OUT" bolt trick (I understand the double-stacked ban...

Is this only happening to people that have tachs?
It's not happening to me but I don't have a tach hooked up yet and am not using the W terminal.

injection pump
...so you put an injection pump input banjo on the output ... along with the double barbed banjo that's already there. I was thinking that since the "OUT" bolt has a restrictor in it, you'd have to measure the pressure on the inside of the "OUT" bolt. Instead of putting another b...

I enjoy reading your informative posts as well as the posts telling how you got to where you are. Where and what you went through to get here is good reading. We don't always stay right on topic here and I've been known to throw in a few stories. I think it makes us a closer community and I'd rather...

injection pump pressure
How do you get a reading of the injection pump pressure.
Do you tap a fitting into the "OUT" bolt? ... then run a line to your gauge?
So for the on/off LDA you run a valve that either lets boost pressure through to the LDA or shuts it off right?

tank heater
I've been using 3/8" stainless tubing for the in-tank heater tubing.
For the vegy fuel line I use PEX now and I like it.
Works great and can be had for a fair price.

alternator bracket
That looks like a non-AC alternator bracket.
It's missing the small upper bracket that bolts to the injection pump (I see the hole it bolts to) and on the Rabbit would support the upper timing belt cover ... not sure what the upper timing belt cover looks like on one of these.
