I do have one I intend on putting on. ive read on other forums Giles apparently has said that he has ran 150 psi pusher pumps with no noticeable effect on internal pump pressure and dynamic advance. He also reccomends running one if you have any kind of performance mod to keep the flow consistent.
I think my my retrurn is siphoning fuel out of my pump leaving my ip without any fuel in it so when I'm cranking it over its having to refill itself with fuel. I'm getting bubbles in or out once its running.
So strange after sitting at work all day in 40-50 degree temps it started right up with no hesitation so weird. Gonna go outside here in a bit and see what happens this morning.
Now my car is starting like crap. had to crank it over for 30 seconds today. individually wired all my glow plugs with 10 guage wire to a fuse block but I haven't hooked up a solenoid yet. take out your starter replace the bushing in the trans. take apart your starter and grease the shaft and gears after cleaning out well. Bigger cable from starter to batterry short as possible. I used a few jam nuts on the adjusting bolt to hold it in a fixed postion whilst still being able to adjust the idler tension. n...
They are the same only difference is the teeth on the gears inside and the punch they use to stamp the code into the case. Jettaman did you put the .91 fourth into yours? I was contemplating doing that also. I put in a .71 into my can haven't been able to drive it yet though.
1. set your timing slightly advanced it makes cold starting much easier I had mine set last winter all I had to do was hit the glowplugs 1 time and it spun over in less than 1 crank down to single digits. no heater at all 2. I bet if you ran it off a timer an hour before you could get away with it j...
