adding gauges to a dasher
I am planning on vacuum gauge, maybe an oil pressure gauge, a fuel tempature gauge, etc. Most impost for me is the vacuum gauge. My question is where do you come thru the firewall? I have looked up and down, I don't see any goumets that I can use. The vacuum gauge would be for the fuel filter. Since...

extra vign olive oil if it is good quality oil is too valueable to use for diesel replacement fuel, beside extra virgin oil oil probably isn't processed enough to meet quality we need for use in diesels. It could be used but why use a great cooking oil for fuel? It would need to be degummed, dewater...

dewatering waste oil with an AC reciever/drier idea
I am off work right now and being bored, My brain started mulling over ideas. One of these was to use an auto AC reciever drier as a wvo dewaterer. I don't have one to mess around with right now and not sure exactly they work They might only work with vapor. You would need to make a drain in the drie...

Is it possible to lengthen the time the glow plugs stay on
I Have what I believe is the slow relay for the glow plugs in my 1981 VW dasher Diesel. What I would like to do is increase the time to at least double or triple the time the glow plugs stay on. My glow plugs stay on for approx. 7 seconds, I would like to increace that to 14 second or 21 seconds. Ca...

I believe it is the vegetable oil that affects the rubber ,in a wvo conversion The oil will eat though seals and hoses but it does it at a slower rate I have read. My experience has been I needed to replace the orginal fuel lines at the tank once I had converted my car, but they may well have been l...

California law as it pertains to wvo usage?
I know that the law for transporting wvo is rather straight forward, doesn't leave much room for the little guy, I am talking about the guy who takes home 10 to 20 gallons of WVO a week. Then there is the grey area where the state says yes you are suppose to pay road tax on anything that is used as ...
