86 Golf 5-speed shifter problem
The spring on the bottom of my gearshift that holds the gearshift up so that you have to push down to get reverse is apparently broken. How do you replace it?

I was having trouble installing the 2nd C clamp on my 86 Golf diesel. So I went in and had lunch and came up with this idea that worked very well.
