I haven't seen a Scamp since my parents brought one home in the '70s! I have a hitch on the back of my rabbit as well, and one of those cheap fold up trailers to go with it. You never know when you might need to haul something, and I couldn't see owning a truck just for that. The most I've hauled so...

How long have you been running BD? It will cause all the regular diesel scum buildup to sluff off and plug your system. You shouldn't have a moisture seperator.

Yes, it does.
I use canola to brew with, and it's reputed to have a gel point around 15-20 degrees f.
I've read that soy is around 40.

40 degrees in the daytime is pretty cold for a lot of B100. The BD retains the gell properties of the oil it was made from, and most seem to gell in that area. Toss in the overnight temps, and I would assume you have located your true issue. This sounds like what I would expect from B100 made from s...

I'm considering changing to an A2, and someone told me they run quieter. Is that true? I'm also concerned about space... I'm 6'4" and top 300# (love to barbeque!). Does an A2 have as much room as an A1?

I've also had fuses from other circuits affect the turn signal circuit. Check all the fuses, not just the ones for the turn signals or emergency flasher.

I've been down this road! I can help!
The new bearing will come in a plastic housing. Do NOT take the bearing out of the plastic. The entire thing fits up into the tube.
I just pushed the new bearing into the tube... it took some force, but it went in. The fit is friction.

As much as I appreciate the advice, I can't in good conscience play the Hudini thing with VINs. My luck, I'd get caught somehow. If I really wanted to do things, I'd just park my current bunny out back and use all the good parts on a replacement bunny once one came available. It'd be a slow migratio...

The jury is in... $6800 in reciepts buys you exactly (drum roll, please!) $24. That's right! $24 dollars were added to the value of the car because I could produce $6800 of reciepts for work I had done to the car. They considered a vast majority of the work 'maintenance', which they said was normal ...

The insurance company actually asked me to give them the reciepts (once they heard that I had them) in order to raise the value of the car. Whatever they decide is the value (they told me before getting the reciepts that they valued it at $1800), they would then either a) cut me a check to fix the c...

I jsut compliled most of my reciepts for all the parts I've put into my rabbit over the last year so I could get some kind of credit for them from my insurance adjuster. I've got almost $6800 so far, and I haven't really looked too hard, yet. Wow! Did I mention I love my little car?

You guys have been great. I appreciate your empathy. I bought my bunny out of hock (paid the storage fees to the body shop that did absolutely nothing ), and brought it home. I'm still dealing with the insurance company, and they're starting to see things my way (I'm surprised, frankly). I crawled i...

Death of a rabbit

So I'm in mourning... my rabbit was tailended at a stop light by what turned out to be an uninsured driver. It wasn't very severe, but the insurance companies don't want to hear about all the money and time you have invested into the car. The only thing left to restore was the body itself, and it dr...

Yeah, I generally shudder at the thought, but... When I rescued this little gem out of a wrecking yard, it had a windshield leak that I needed to fix almost immediately. I couldn't see where it was leaking from, but my hunch was the windshield, and replacing it dried everything up on my carpets. Sin...

IMHO, you guys are going WAY too deep to find the solution! I found this problem when I was building my engine and had it on the stand. The hidden IP bolt connects to a bracket that bolts to the front of your block. If you loosen this bracket from the block, you can push or pull the IP bracket just ...
