yeah, I always loosen the bolt a turn or two and smack it with a rubber hammer......one time I didn't loosen it enough and uh.....the cam wasn't strong enough to withstand all my pounding. Cost me fifty bucks for a new cam. :oops: I would say make sure it's loose enough(duh)and smack it then rotate,...

Hagar, I have a question, if I drive 45mph I get 50-51mpg US, if I drive 53-60mph I get 40mpg US. I'm wondering if the timing advance isn't working to spec, or possibly it is over advancing. Yeah, I'm using a 1 gallon jug sitting on the passenger floor for a tank so it's only a gallon at a time, and I usually burn about a gallon a day so while I'm driving it'll be warm in the car and "probably" won't solidify, at night I can dump in pure diesel to make sure. As for mixing the ...
