sometimes I've found it takes several tanks of fuel to get a good average after doingca drastic change on my engine.

Some clashes don't show up at hand cranking speed. I am the lucky owner of one :shock: I know it's mechanical because it is present even if I coast down a 3 mile hill in 5th with ignition off...[Eliminates any residual fuel that one trained local mechanic said it could be.] Either way, it has been ...

hydraulic head, funky upper end tick that I just assumed was something with the lifters. It ran for 4 years (and still does),. I think this might be it according to stuff i've read elsewhere i guess ill try some stuff and live with it if i cant solve it. Maybe I will pull the head once it pisses me...

Could a bent valve cause a tick? All the parameters your mentioned 82 check out. Timing dead on all new filter no air. Im hoping if i put some diesel purge thru it and maybe a quart of atf in the crank case on advice from someone on another forum. If this engine didnt tick it would be absolutely per...

plugged in sensors no longer doing it. I just wonder if i remove the top one and install a fitting for a pressure guage if it will start doing it again?

no pusher pump installed yet but i did discover 2 of my gps were disconnected from the fuse block and the red power wire wasnt tight on fuse block.

I need the fittings for a mtdi pump I'm buying from libby they come to him w/o fittings so I'm seekin them. id be interested also in what you have. is that so you can run the vacuum guage right off the fitting?

I got a tach cluster finally just wondering how I hook it up to the w terminal since there is already a wire coming from it?
