Found a set of 5 for $10 on E-Bay. Had no luck at any of the auto stores and on line stores where all on back ordered.

Anyone know where I can buy new light bulbs for my 1986 speedometer cluster. My bulbs are dead and I can not seem to find them on any parts list.

Can you suggest any specialist that would be capable of such surgery? Would I need a special solder if I attempt it myself?

If it has a clock instead of a tach it should work.

My 1986 Golf Diesel speedometer and clock that work fine but my instrument lights do not come on. I tore the plastic or mylar circuit board when I replaced my speedometer. Any one have an old plastic circuit board that runs a speedometer and analog clock?

I am attempting to recharge my 1986 Diesel Golf with 134A. The Chilton Manuel states that it holds 40 ounces of R12. Is that a direct conversion for 134A? ( 40 oz of 134 equaling 40 oz of R120) ? I have replaced the light switch with other switches with no change in my problem so I do not think it is the switch. I have adjusted the dimmer and that is not the problem either. Can someone tell me where the X relay is located?
