When tourqueing Nibblets cam sproket is it best practice to

1 leave the "VW special tool" in the back of the cam with equal sized
shims on both sides in place?

2 Hold the Cam sproket with something and if so What..?

Bought new / rebuilt injectors installed with new heat shields and tourqed to spec per bentley.. still seeing some compression leaks from around the Injectors? she sounds and drives Better! I can definately tell when adjusting the timing when she is nailing or not... still getting either black or gr...
