Hey Guys,

I'm not quite clear on how this works?
If you just use a torque wrench to tighten them then why mark them?
(sure I'm missing something here so try to keep the jeers down :D )

I would make sure timing was tuned to the advanced side of "the zone", and as a couple others suggested, back off the full load adjustment until you can barely stand to drive it. (mark the original position and a slight turn makes a BIG difference) and screw in the throttle arm stop to lim...

Unless the oil is just pouring out if it, get a can of de-greaser, drive to the local coin operated car wash, LET THE ENGINE COOL OFF, wrap the ALt in plastic, spray the engine with the dr-greaser and pressure wash it gently. Drive it home and by the time you get there you should be able to find the...

Rooted around and found my spare fuse.
Now I can put off re-wiring the glow system even longer.

The Honda ones look like a large blade type in a little plastic ox with a window in it. Pretty high quality looking item and it looks like a direct fit for the two screws that hold the original.
I'll pick one up today as running un-fused is getting to my nerves.

Quick question for you guys.

Does anyone know the amp. rating for the glow fuse?

None of the parts places stock it but there are some Honda ones that look like they will fit. They have ratings up to 80 amps.

For the first time ever I went to start the Bunny Truck this morning and she wouldn't lite off. She would crank but no fire. She usually lite off in 3 seconds or less when stone cold with the advance knob pulled so I didn't even bother to keep cranking and went looking for the issue involved. It did...

Didn't the automatic trans diesels come with a manual fuel cutoff (since it's hard to stall a runaway automatic ;) )? If so, maybe you could use it on a manual trans car after defeating the electrical solenoid. If that is a screw in replacement for the electrical one and it operates off of some kin...

Go to a large RC hobby shop and ask for clear fuel line for use with diesel converted glow engines. I think it is made of some kind of silicone, it is see through, requires no clamps and seems to last forever. Enough to do the return lines should run you about 10 bucks. I would have to search but I...

Sounds like corrosion may be the issue. Everything has to be super, super clean and move freely or you will have problems. FYI, you can make that three sided socket pretty easy by grinding out the half the lugs in a 13 mm socket but I would not recommend removing those bolts with the IP in the car. ...

Welcome. First I would want to know why it was sitting for awhile. If it had veggie, crappy bio or who knows what else run through it there could be gum and/residue in the IP. Before trying to start it again and risk damage due to over rev I would pull the top cover off the IP, (which can be done in...

When you say outlet plug do you mean the outlets that the hard line attach to on the back end of the pump?
If so, the answer is yes, you do need to energize the fuel cut or there will be no fuel output.
