I wouldn't feel to sorry for me. I get 6 month on the water and then go ice surfing with a sail or kite. I'm suppose to be testing wet suites for a surf shop manufacture out of Santa Monica. Glazier feed lakes are idea for this. Water 33 and air 75. Don't fall or you get a ice cream headache. Hosers...

You just put the muffle clap inside the C-clip. Then spread the C-clip by turning turning the nuts on the clap. Of coarse you have to have the nuts the wrong side for use on a muffler. I notice the link in Tech FAQ Thread to Home made specialty tools no longer works. It would be nice to get this goi...

I guess anyone can go for the pricer off the shelf if you want to send the money on it or have the money to spend on it. I always get a charge out of recycling the used stuff as much as possible. My thinking is that if I get some beefer springs to begin with an little wear on them shouldn't hurt. 4B...

I use to work for a big oil company. Most of the pipe lines were insulated from the well head and battery facility. They used unions with plastic insert and plastic insert for flanges. Then one end was hooked up to power and the other end grounded to a catholic bed of sacrificial metal. I was always...

It looks like your missing wires that go to the a heater. Its in the vent line that comes off the top of the valve cover but its located at the end that goes into the intake. Its important in cool weather to keep the vent open not pressurizing your crankcase and loosing oil. 4BTA 3.9 Cummins Stepvan...

If you have a Bosch alternator its easy to remove the brushes and see if they meet the minim spec for length. If you have a different kind it still doable but much more work. I had something like this going on and I found half a peanut shell jammed in the brushes. I wasn't even close to Jimmy Carter...

I seen them doing some thing similar in an old Mother Earth New. You might be able to find it in a search in the archives. This system that the Finns are running looks a little more sophisticated than what they had. They were explaining it a bit in Mother Earth. They talked about how wood doesn't bu...
