check the color of the "pool" .... yellow or green or pink may be coolant ( depending on the color in the overflow bottle in front of the driver). black is usually oil dripping or a leaking injector pump if you have a diesel. Pink may also be power steering ( if anyone has used ATF to fill...

no need for gauges ... just the turbo.....

added air runs leaner (only more fuel = heat ) since you don't add fuel, the temps shouldn't rise greatly. the intercooler is also a bit of a waste of time with stock boost pressures.

lest we forget the front pump seal also.....

any of these seals can cause fuel to leak down and cover the rad hoses, power steering pumps.... BTW diesel fuel eats (weakens) any rubber ( rad hose) it touches. please don't run the car much without washing them off with soap and water.

control data went belly up late 89 and owned CDC ... so everything went... it was bought by general dynamics and all production stopped. just the engineers were kept on for design purposes... every thing else was farmed out to the lowest bidder.

silicone has vinegar in it (acetic acid) ... very mild, once it evaporates or washes away with water you're good .... vinegar isn't strong enough to eat paint, so its rubber to silicone to paint.... the only one you should avoid is the silver one ( paint won't stick to it ). BTW ... just put a piece...

lowly silicone will also seal most windshields ... clear works well.

the proper stuff also glues the windshield firmly in place during accidents.

key off = no power on the blue wire key ON = 12v on blue wire to excite the alt. the blue wire ( key on ) has +12v on it and grounds thru the alt and lights the LED. When the alt produces power, it puts +12v on the blue wire ( no longer grounded ) so t the blue wire has +12 V at both ends = no groun...
