fuel line connection between tank and input to fuel filter
OK hate to ask a question already answered but have used search extensively and, with Fatmobile's help, found some of the info I needed. But I have one last question I can't seem to find the answer to. I understand that the fuel connection between the metal fuel line coming from fuel tank to the inp...

Good greif. Sure reuse them in a pinch. But they cost 1.00 each. Buy 10 or 20 so you have them when you need them. Or just always have 4 on hand. If you use the 4 then order 4 more. That reminds me I need to order about 8 or so. (practice what I preach) Yeah good info, but for my first injector exc...

I'm with 3Bunny's and Coke on the injectors! I had the same issue could barely maintain 55 MPH and laid down a smoke screen the US military would be proud of. MPG was in the low to mid 30's! Got a set of rebuilt injectors and many extra heat shields(just incase) swapped them in and presto 49.2 MPG a...

I'm sure I posted on here, about using copper rings on the lips of the gear to hold it tight,... like a small hose clamp. Any possibility of pics of this? Wonder what plastic that gear is made out of? Was thinking of an acetal because it would need the self lubricating properties. Nylon with a slip...

You have a way of showing me the light! I definitely feel I have a better understanding of the material after reading this. I'm not seeing anything yet that would make me think this might not work, so I'm planning on delving in and running some trials. I wasn't trying to disuade you from using PEX,...

No it isn't polyethylene any longer it is crosslinked meaning its molecular structure bears the same relationship to polyethylene as graphite does to diamond or natural rubber does to a cured tire. Similar monomeric units completly different bonding structure! Google is a wonderful tool: http://www....

Re: Anyone ever tried PEX tubing with biodiesel?
PEX is cross-linked Polyethylene it is a 3 dimensinally bonded polymer like a car tire. It is not as flexible as vinyl tubing and may have some crimping issues. But, as it is used in "infloor" hydronic heating systems there must be ways to connect it to itself and manifolds for hot water d...
