Our friend hagar told about use of "xilol" to swell seal.I didn`t try this.

Sealant can make mess in cooling don`t ask how I know,and you have to put a LOT.

2nd- pulsing-look like master cilinder or vacum line (valve).
Always is good to change rubber lines if are old-original ones.

Bio can dilute crap in fuel sistem picked by years,so do Mark said about fuel solenoid,perhaps
than same disel flush and compresor air.
