Missing Injector Pump mount
Do you need the bracket that bolts to the block or the bushing and nut that go through the bracket that allow the rear of the pump to be tightened or both? The bracket has two bolts to the block and two bolts that bolt to the front motor mount plate. Let me know which you need.

JRM- Already has splash guard installed. Engine rebuilt by VW Canada before I got the car. No blow by no oil consumption. run away and white smoke
I have a 1980 1.5l n/a Problem: after engine warms up at about 50mph the engine starts blowing white smoke and runs away.
What causes this and how do I fix it.

Remove/Replace 1.6L N/A Head Gasket
Bentley in Fig. 5-11 says to knock out the prechamber inserts, new ones are not available as replacement parts. Then later saye to reinstall the old ones.
If new ones are not available, why remove the old ones?
Is there a reason for this that I am not seeing?

need help
VW'r; Where are you located? Which rod do you need? May not make a difference but I have always replaced with rod from same # cylinder. Is it a 1.6L engine? I am in SoCal.
