NAPA usually stocks Pentosin. I did away with the Pentosin, and replaced it with Mobil1 Synthetic ATF (~$5.99 @ Walmart). Commonly done by many on the Audi World Forums (I used to own a 200 Quattro). Posts there vary, some drain the Pentosin and flush the system well, others add the M1 right in with...

Valve cover gasket upgrade kit arrived Wendsday afternoon so I put the G60 valve cover on early yesterday morning before my commute to work. It does reduce noise somewhat, I'd say ~25%. It seems to me that it eliminates noise the most at highway speeds. It was most noticeable to me at 65-70 (2500-27...

Yikes! Shrink that image down to 800x600. It's too huge!
Read This thread through completely, viewtopic.php?t=5311 explains how to change the pump head seal with the pump in the vehicle.

I did some checking around about batteries before I bought one. I didn't want a generic Walmart or Autozone cheapie. It turns out a Company called Douglas Battery a division of Exide has the contract with Varta to produce new OEM replacement batteries here in the U.S. for BMW, Mercedes, Audi and VW ...

Re: saab 9000
There is a 4th cooler, which I took, it was a oil cooler, I think it is better than VW's stock oil cooler which uses coolant, this one is like a small radiator, about 3 X 10 inches, cooled by air. The question is how do I use it on my Rabbit? :) I am not 100% sure on Saabs and maybe it was just the...
