dewatering waste oil with an AC reciever/drier idea

I am off work right now and being bored, My brain started mulling over ideas.
One of these was to use an auto AC reciever drier as a wvo dewaterer. I don't have one to mess around with right now and not sure exactly they work They might only work with vapor.You would need to make a drain in the drier.
The high pressure oil would be provided by a power steering pump hooked to a electric motor.

Does this idea merit further study?
