A (0) symbol lit up on display

A yellow symbol lit up in the middle of the display area(O).I suspect it may have to do with brakes but I wonder what is the detailed meaning. :(

Its the front brake pad indicator light. It means the front brake pads are worn beyond acceptable limits and need to be replaced, or the sensor wire is corroded/unplugged/ or clipped off as we found on my fathers later Jetta.

:D I already have a spare set of pads. I have swapped Summer & Winter tire/wheels a couple of times in the past year,pads had plenty of "meat on the bones" so more likely sensor than worn pads. I can take a look and replace pads as necessary :D No Problem. an ABS fault would have been a problem. Thanks!
