i'm just about to convert my 98 tdi to run on vegediesel and was told that i will have to have the ecm flashed to adapt the fuel/timing map to compensate. Anybody ever run across this issue, will accept all advice.I am going to have the nozzles modified so they won't clog.

Thoughts on Bio diesel.
I have a 2006 VW TDI and I am using WVO after it has been processed with Methanol and KOH. I am not using it straight with fuel modifications.
I was going that route and decided that to convert was too much hassle.
I make my own fuel and have been using 100 % for at least 1000 miles and a blend for almost 4000 with no problems.
Which ever way you go, best to you
