Can anyone tell me where I can get an oil filler tube for an 82 diesel vanagon. I just need the tube, not the cap or stick.
I have tried go westy, van agian, CIP1 and 2, busdepot, and vwdieselparts. Nobody seems to have one.
Know anyone with a parts van I could contact?

My first diesel VW was an 82 van like yours,and the oil filler tube leaked it was cracked near the bottom . I finaley got one at the dealer, can'nt renember exact amount but i think less than $50. That was in 1998,and about 56k miles ago,I remember at the time i wanted to try J B weld on it, i think if taking off and prepped right it would work. jb sure worked

the last post locked up on me, i wanted to say both my speakers in the van they hang up side down were broke and hanging by the wires i used J B weld and there still up ther today.try the quick cure kind they have now
