I need a dipstick and tube for 89 Jetta diesel

I have been swaping parts from my 1.5 and the dipstick tube does not look like it will seat correctly in the position of the original.
Maybe if someone has one and some calipers and can draw it out with some mesurements I and make one or one for sale let me know.

I tried to put the older style dipstick in place of the much longer '91 assembly on my truck, to keep it looking like an '82, but ended up using it. I think a sleeve could be machined to allow use of the older one, not sure. I think this is the problem you have.

Actualy I don't know the capacity of oil required to be full I don't have an owners manual If I new I could take some mesurements and make one but then again it's cheaper to buy one.
