vanagon diesel parts?????

Hi I need the cluster, mph cable and the oil dip stick if anyone out there hace it for sale please let me know. And how I can connect a generic tach to my alternator what cables uses??? Thanks

Most of the parts you are looking for are currently on ebay. Do a search for "diesel vanagon" and they should come up. As for hooking up a tach, the easiest way to go about this is to use the W plug from the back of the alternator if you are lucky enough to have one on your's (not all vanagon alternators have this terminal) and connect it to a diesel tachometer (these are different than a gas tach). Alternatively you can run the W signal to a Dakota Digital device that will change the signal to one that a gas tach can read effectively.
