Looking where to find matching headliner material

Post by kayakwesty »

I want to replace the headliner in my 1991 Jetta, and want a close match. Has anybody been there done that? It has a grey headliner.

I got a good replacement foam-backed headliner fabric from a craft/sewing store- I can't remember the name of the store but if you will call them and ask- I had to order the material. Be sure and get all the old foam off of the cardboard before you glue on the new (wire brush). Use 3M heavy duty spray adhesive made for this application. It costs more but it will hold the new liner in place.
