Went to start the car....the engine cranked for a split second then stopped. It cranked very slowly before stopping. I thought dead battery again.. Tried to jump it....same thing. Nothing. Differant jumpers....nothing.
I turn the key to the start position...dead silence. New battery...clean cables, all dash lights work, bright headlites, etc. Is there a relay I can replace? I'm going to see if there is 12v to the starter this morning. If I can't troubleshoot/repair this, I have to have it towed a long way. Any help is appreciated.
Engine won't crank!

won't start
Crank it for awhile and feel the cables (not just the battery connections)for heat.
Probably a bad negative battery cable connection... to the trany/block.
